What these settings cover
Cookies are small browser records. Similar storage can remember preferences without using a cookie. This site stores a record called metro-wide-cookie-choices in local storage to remember the categories you select for up to 180 days. The record contains your choices, a version and dates, without your name or contact details.
Essential page delivery, security and form protections remain available. These settings control optional website measurement and the embedded Google map. They don’t control a separate Google, Jobber or Formspree website you choose to open.
Optional analytics
Optional analytics stay off unless you allow them. Your choice controls website measurement when it’s enabled. Google Analytics can measure visits and interaction events; Clarity can produce heatmaps and session recordings. Google Tag Manager manages tags and does not make other providers exempt from your choices.
When enabled, Google Analytics commonly uses cookies beginning with _ga, and Clarity uses _clck and _clsk, among other provider technologies. Actual records and lifetimes depend on the installed configuration. Our preference record’s 180-day lifetime is separate from provider cookie lifetimes.
External maps
Google Maps loads only after you enable maps here or select “Allow Google Maps” on the service-area page. This connects to Google and may allow Google cookies. See the provider details in our privacy policy.
Search Console & Jobber
Google Search Console’s site verification and search reports do not require an optional visitor cookie on this website. The Residential Grounds, Commercial Grounds and Government & Municipal request forms load Jobber automatically when you open a page that includes a form. You don’t need to enable this website’s optional analytics to use the form. Jobber’s own services, cookies and notices apply inside the embedded form and on its separate website; these settings do not control them.
Changing or withdrawing a choice
Return here from any page’s footer to save a new choice or reject optional features. Turning off maps removes the embedded map. Turning off analytics stops our optional measurement events and clears analytics cookies this website can access. The page may reload to apply the change. Information already sent cannot be recalled by changing a preference.
These choices apply to this browser and website address. Make your choices again on another device, after clearing browser storage or on a different website address. If storage is blocked, the site will explain that the choice could not be saved.
This site honors Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track by keeping optional analytics disabled. Browser settings and provider controls may offer additional options, including clearing cookies that belong to another domain. Google also offers an Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
